Hi Friends
I've made an autumnal card so that I could join in with the current Allsorts' Challenge where the theme is "Colours of Autumn" - pretty sure my leaves will count for that!

| The gel print and the die-cut leaves from it! |
I used my fingers to smear red, green, yellow and orange acrylic paint all over my gelli plate and ran the brayer over the wet paint very lightly a couple of times. I used one of my larger snippets of thin white card to take the print. Once the print was dry, I die-cut it with a leafy set of dies that is my new favourite! The swirly stamp is a very old SU one, and the sentiment is from an Aall & Create set.

Simply beautiful indeedy xxx
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see just how a CAS card came out of that really messy bit of play with acrylic paints. Envious of the super leaf dies 😉
ReplyDeleteOh yes Sarn, your leaves fit the theme perfectly, thanks so much for joining in at Allsorts this week.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that die a few times, a need item I think but don't know the make?

Absolutely stunning card Sarn! So nice to see how you made it using a Gelli plate and your fingers - mucky pup! And the end result is totally one of my favourite ever cards, perfect Autumn leaves and the swirl and sentiment go perfectly - you would get a Gold Star in the Playground!

Your creation is a definite encouragement. It must be serendipity😀 Thanks so much for joining us at Allsorts Challenge this week
