Repeat Stamping

Hey there creative friends!

Today, I'm sharing two cards using repeat stamping WITHOUT any re-inking!

You need a fairly juicy ink pad for best results. (I used VersaFine Onyx Black for the first card and Warm Breeze for the second card.) The technique is quick and easy to do, but has quite an impact.

If you try this technique out, my top tip is NOT to stamp all the way to the very top of your card . . . it looks out of balance (ask me how I know)! Leave that bit of white space near the top well alone!

Quite contemporary don't you think?

Wishing you a wonderfully creative day.

Masculine Birthday Card

Hi there creative friends!

Today's card is a masculine one . . . come and see!

The outside

The inside

  • I started off with a bit of stencilling using green and blue Distress Inks and an Aall & Create stencil.
  • Next, I stamped the SU grid stamp over the top and added a few splatters from SU Gorgeous Grunge as well as a sentiment.
  • It still needed something else . . . so I decided on the white die cut cog wheels.
  • I usually add a paper insert, but felt like a change, so, instead I stamped, stencilled, matted and layered the inside!

A New Home Card

Hello there creative friends

I was commissioned to make a new home card, and this is what I came up with:

I used a stitched circle die from The Works to cut out a gelli print for the background. Next, I stamped the vase of flowers (by Kay Carley) onto white card and used a smaller stitched circle to cut it out. I used Tombow marker pens to colour the flowers and ground the vase. Finally, I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze ink.

As this is a monochrome card, I'm joining in again with the current STAMPING SENSATIONS challenge.

Thanks for visiting today . . . it was lovely to see you!
